He knows his way home...

I do not know for sure if this story is true.
Frank Lloyd Wrights widow was driving to the store one day with her sprogs in tow.
As she gets out of the car at the store, a neighbor pulls in in back of her blowing horn.
"Mrs Wright, one of your children fell out of the car a mile back."
Mrs. Wright locked the door, looked at the neighbor and said "Oh, that's ok, he knows his way home," and proceeded into the store.. no doubt leaving the neighbor with their jaw hanging.

It isn't any more far fetched than some of these breeders who "lose" their kids in shopping malls and don't notice until a child molester has had time to cross state lines with it, or how they "forget" the kid is in a locked car in 100 degree heat while they eat pizza or get their nails done, or that the 2 y/o kid has been missing for 2 hours and was last seen playing with a rubber ducky in the backyard kiddie pool but they didn't think to check there first, or that it's ok to leave a toddler alone in a filled bath tub, or that it's ok to leave a 2 month old infant in a portable baby bath on the kitchen counter while they answer the doorbell and sign for a package and make small talk with the delivery man, or that it's fine and dandy to leave an infant unattended in a crib swing with a coupla of pit bulls lurking around,etc..........

I think I'll call these incidents, "post-partum abortion" from now on.
