Moo shares gross breast feeding side effect, gets even grosser solution

"whitehead-like spot on tip of nipple

It's been there for a few days and seems to be slowing the flow (at least when I pump). What might this be and how do I deal with/get rid of it?

Thanks!"

and the thoughtful response which followed:

"Might be a milk blister..

Be sure when you use the hot compresses that they are *really* hot (but NOT hot enough to burn your skin) and leave it on long enough for the heat to penetrate; then be ready to latch baby on immediately after removing compress.. you don't want it to cool before you get latched.

The combination of the heat, which thins the skin, and the babys vigorous sucking, usually will open it.? (it can hurt like the dickens, but once it opens it's like blessed relief lol)"

eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Ohgoodjesusthatisfuckingdisgusting.

Words can't express how grateful I am that my body does NOT do that.
***ralph*** why didn't she ask her doctor? attention whore.
Hhhmmm, using the baybee as a zit popping device, some part of me shouldn't be shocked but all of me is disgusted.Let's hope she doesn't tell THAT story to the prospective SIL/DIL.
Sad to say, when I was younger I seemed to get a lot of whiteheads on those afore-mentioned parts. Had nothing to do with milk, I have no idea where they came from. As I got older they dissappeared.
Disgusting.
