Well it's nice to see her priorities are right. A little snack on a Serge Gainsbourg LP is really filling.

So she's crying poverty, is getting paid $24K/year, has a severely disabled son, is getting food stamps and other taxpayer-funded welfare, but somehow has the money to buy herself some collectibles. A quick half-assed search on cost shows me a price range of $40-50 per LP. Hmmm, maybe that money could be spent on paying for a home aide for her child so she can work more at a higher paying job?

She's so desperate to still be living her hipster dream life and not live in reality and is content to blame the colleges for not properly paying adjunct professors instead of looking at herself. It's not the fault of the lowballing colleges for her current predicament and it's way too easy to fall back on that excuse because it absolves her of personal responsibility. That excuse is what is letting her buy vintage LPs while crying poverty. It's what is letting her whine about being paid too low for teaching when she has two degrees and she has a disabled son after she turned down a higher paying job because it's not what she wants.

Also just noticed that this article refers to Linda Tirado....Ohhhhh how I hate that liar. She did get a huge book advance and now that book is out. She was on one of the NPR podcasts I listen to, she is such a liar.
