Doctor tells moo to PUT THE TIT DOWN and it makes her angry

"DD doesn't like to eat food. One of the doctors questions was when I was planning on weaning. I told her I didn't know when and that DS (29 months) is still nursing. She suggested that I put DD at the table with cereal in the morning before nursing her to get her to eat. I think that will just made her totally mad. DH doesn't think that will help either.

She didn't even mention vitamin suppliment, but I did ask about it. She said we could try it. Her iron is 8.5. She will chew but rarely swallows.

First of all, what is a "carseat tech" and why is that in her signature line? Is it supposed to give her more credibility than the other moomies who only list their kids and their ages and how long they have been breastfeeding? A twenty nine month old needs to be OFF the tit and AT the breakfast table like a normal human being. I think it's abnormal for a child that age to not eat solid food and then to chew and not swallow. How exactly does she think that is normal? Then she has to back herself up with "hubby doesn't think it will work either". How the hell does hubby know? My guess is that she nagged him about it on his way out the door headed to work and he said, "You are right dear".

I can't imagine any hubby who'd be more bored by this topic. I agree, he probably mouthed "Yes, dear, yes, dear," on his way out the door just to shut her up.

So how long does this counting-by-months fetish extend? Why do mommies count by months instead of the normal "two and a half years" or "just over three years" or whatever? I don't get it.

Uhhh, yeah...a kid that does not eat solid food when she's almost 2 1/2 years old is NOT normal. I wonder what happens when Pwincess gets to kindergarten and is the only calf sucking on a bottle at the lunch table while all the other kids are eating solid lunches.
