eeeewwww; She wonders about "curds" in the breast milk

"I noticed that refrigerated milk that I put in cooler with ice block gets curds in it after some time.....the milk still smells and tastes good. But those curds are confusing me. The same thing happens to thawed bottles. The taste is still ok, a bit different than fresh, but still ok.
My DD doesn't mind the taste
What do you think?" two faces puking

Veteran milk cows come to her rescue::yeah

"My milk does the same thing.
Like tomorrow morning when I get out the milk that I pumped friday to put in bottles for the day.
It is 'clumpy' like that.
I think it's the fat (or cream)."Mr. T: I pitty tha fools

"My milk didn't USE to last over the weekend in the fridge and i worried then we got a new fridge and WOW! what a difference.
Have you checked the temp in the fridge?
Might not be cold enough."shrug

"DAIRY QUEEN" saved the day!!!!!:yr

drinking coffee "I did check the temperature and it was nowhere near 32-39°F. I lowed the temperature now and it's now 41°F and I can't go lower than that. The fridge is new, so we won't be buying a new one any time soon. We'll see what happens with this temperature. Thank you so much for the suggestion!!! I had no idea that the temperature is too high.......

two faces puking Ok, NOW we all know what is MORE gross than breast milk; Breastmilk with CURDS. EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW

How dare this cow make her screen name the same as the place that serves delicious Blizzard treats?

I'm surprised no one had the suggestion that she make breast milk cheese out of those curds. (Hork!)
