This happened kinda sorta in my neck of the woods. Seems that the family was staying in a motel (not sure if short term or long term) and Duh decided to take his infant daughter to a cemetery, rape her, murder her, then chuck her body in a pond. Police found the guy wandering around naked near the motel.
He confessed to it, but then plead not guilty to the murder charge. Seems no motive has been established and he might not even get charged for the sexual assault because it's only "alleged" right now, but the guy's probably looking at life in prison at the ripe old age of 25.
Apparently he didn't get the memo that he was supposed to love it once it got here. I also have to wonder if drugs were involved.
