K-man's post reminded me of this but I didn't want to hijack.
There is a ballot question this November that would cut the state income tax in half if passed. I thought about voting "no" due to the fact that it would cut funding for things like "infrastructure repairs" as well as "social services". I have decided to hell with the infrastructure, I'm voting "yes" and keeping that money to use as I see fit. It's not much, but when added to everyone ELSE's "not much", it is quite a chunk of change. Yes, I'm being selfish: I have a house with no mortgage and a recession-proof, union-job.
I am also voting "yes" on the decriminalization of marijuana. It's not perfect, but it is a step in the right direction.
I am also voting "yes" on #3 for the greyhounds.
