Faux news: No brats, no vote says Big Panz

I bet all the bratless people would be more than happy to stop voting if we no longer paid taxes.
Of course, who would pay taxes?

The other issue is that anyone who doesn't have brats on their income taxes would likely be considered bratless.
Soooo, this group is easily the majority and will only continue to grow. Big Panz is a moron who clearly can only appeal to absolute idiots who aren't able to figure this out.

I'm smelling some fundamentalist brat regret in this one and he wants to criminalize abortion and likely would do everything he can to get rid of any form of birth control.

I cannot stand that tool JD Vance for so many reasons.

I read Hillbilly Elegy. Vance essentially came from a hardscrabble background: no daddy, drunk, absent mother with substance abuse problems, caring redneck grandmother who was his lifeline.

Vance served in the Iraq war, managed not to get killed, worked himself through Ohio State, then went to Yale Law school on a scholarship. Who doesn't love a story of working hard and being successful? I will admit what he did was admirable. Fun fact: Vance's most trusted mentor at Yale was Amy Chua, also known as the Tiger Mother, who wrote that book about not coddling your kids and raising them the Chinese way. Vance married an Asian woman whom he met who was also in Yale law school. (I only mentioned she was Asian because he seems to like Asian women and was very close to Chua.) In the book, he was reluctant to have children and his wife had to talk him into it. He's since become a Catholic and she's popped out three and he's against abortion even in the case of incest or rape because yanno, "two wrongs don't make a right." rusty chainsaw

His book is essentially an ode to the Downtrodden White Midwestern Man who cannot get a living wage due to the loss of manufacturing jobs and the erosion of the family. Like any good conservative, Vance believes the answer is turning the clock back to 1950 or earlier. Vance's book is supposedly "required reading" for those who want to understand why Trump got elected. I do not agree and I think This is a brilliant, and much shorter synopsis of why that happened.

Note: Naturally, sane people realize Trump is nothing but a grifter and a charlatan, and it's the greatest mind fuck of the century how Trump and his ilk have convinced their dumbass followers that Trump is for the "common man," but I digress.

Speaking of Trump, Vance criticized Donald Trump around 2015-2016 and rightly observed that Trump was not a true Christian (amoral, adulterer, tit grabber, ya think?) but then Vance realized he had to back off that right quick if he wanted to get elected. Vance actually apologized and paid homage to the Orange Idiot, and he was rewarded by winning a Senate seat in Ohio in 2022.

So it should be clear that Vance will say anything to get elected and the "let's punish those lefties who don't breed" is part of his schtick. He's playing to the Downtrodden White Midwestern Man who is angry at losing his place in society--and it's the fault of those uppity women and other minorities and "Leftist policies."

Other things I hate about Vance: Vance managed to land a job working for an Ohio state senator while he was a student at OSU. In his book Vance proudly recounts that he convinced the Senator to not rein in the payday loan industry because Vance himself used payday loans while he was a student. Vance stressed these loans offer a valuable tool for the poor when nobody else will give them financing. Payday loans are an abomination that enslave many people in debt they can never repay.

IOW, he's the worst kind of conservative: an I-Got-Mine conservative who now wants a steady stream of exploitable people who are ideally in debt and have kids they cannot afford. Perfect fodder to keep the Capitalistic Machine rolling.

Oh, and another thing I found amusing in a dark way: all his ridiculous sound bites that came out of his office when that train derailed in his district and poisoned all those people. His call for Government regulations and a "safety net" for the people who had been hurt was positively amusing. You mean to tell me that unregulated industries may actually hurt people? And there's no safety net and corporations and the Government don't have procedures in place to renumerate people who have been harmed by Big Business? Oh, the horror! trout slap

Joke's on them - I already don't vote! I'm not even registered to vote. My reason is simple: when one of the candidates for any election is actually worth voting for, I will vote.

So do you get more votes per child? Or would it still be illegal to vote twice no matter how many kids you have? Because I'm sure if this were to be a thing, breeders would definitely be bitching about how the families with eight kids deserve to have more votes than the ones with just one kid.

Vance chastised four prominent Democrat leaders – Vice-President Kamala Harris, transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg, Senator Cory Booker and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – for not reproducing, suggesting that not having biological kids made them bad leaders.

Orly now? You ever see how fucking chaotic the average breeder household is? There is no leadership in a house with kids - it's complete anarchy. Being a Moo doesn't make you a good leader. If anything, it makes you a good citizen because much like with the government, you have to put up with all the shit that you brought on yourself (in the case of breeders: kids. In the case of people in general, it's the morons they vote into office) and there's not a damn thing you can do to change it.

I also like that the bitch specifies biological kids, because as we all know, adopted kids aren't "real" kids and therefore don't count.

Being childfree, per Vance, means you don’t have a “physical commitment to the future of [the US]” thus shouldn’t have as much say in the direction of the country as parents.

By "physical commitment," does she mean we're not supplying the US with fresh cannon fodder?

Pete Buttigieg is in a same sex marriage and they adopted a child. I guess that doesn't count.

I do not even bother to vote anymore, so, honestly, I could really care less about this particular issue. But even if they do actually try to put this "policy" through, they cannot enforce it on me because I do not even have to file an income tax return anymore.
