moo nearly died in childbirth, says it's worth it

stupid moo
I had a "horrifying childbirth" experience (hemmoraged and almost died), and it was still entirely worth it. So worth it in fact that I'm doing it again later this year, but as my ob put it "we know you're a bleeder, so we'll be ready for that this time".

I've also experienced an unexplained stillbirth that was very traumatic, as well as a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks. Sometimes it's awful, but to me it's always worth it.

It boggles my mind how someone can go through a horrific childbirth in which they nearly died, but want to go through it all over again. One would think that they'd take the hint and stop sluicing but no.
I mean is shitting out multiple loaves really that effing important?

Some women are stupid and seem to think that if they just keep on getting pregnant, nature/Gawd will eventually let them keep a fetus. And they are perfectly willing to endanger their lives all for the sake of a creature that will tell them they hate them in about three years' time.

This dumb cow managed to beat the odds and survived a risky childbirth and got her brat. Why does she need more?? It's like when someone wins a big jackpot at the casino and they think they can get even more money and gamble away everything they won. You gotta know when to quit, and if loafing nearly kills you the first time (not to mention the history of dead clumps), then walk away and be happy with what you've got.

Or, you know, adopt. It's not like there's a shortage of kids that need homes. Oh, but poor breeders couldn't possibly do that because they just caaaaaan't love a child that isn't their own biological offspring. And it's easier to make your own kid than trying to buy one because unlike breeding, you have to actually prove you're a fit parent and financially stable before being allowed to acquire a child.

These women don't get that medicine is not infallible and just because they are surrounded by medical professionals ready to spring into action should things go south, that is not a guarantee of surviving. You can still hemorrhage to death pushing out a loaf. So stop fucking putting yourself in unnecessary danger! I think the USA has the highest rate of maternal morbidity among any other developed nation. You're already playing with fire breeding here in the first place.

But I'm glad to see that entire discussion being there in the first place because women deserve to know what they're getting into if they choose to get/stay knocked up. Pregnasty is not beautiful - it's miserable at best and life-threatening at worst. There's nothing beautiful or miraculous about a doctor having to go tell your spouse or relatives that you bled to death trying to push out a loaf that also died.

Some women say that they are tougher than men because women go through childbirth and do it over again because they are tough enough.

My dad said that if men and women had to take turns having children everyone would stop at 3 kids. The men would never do it again.

I always wondered, if child birth were so painful, why are there not more only children?

Meanwhile, I must be a wuss of a man, I had a root canal once and I don't want to go through that again despite having 9 Novocain shots.
