The article is in the WaPo and is paywalled. But a woman in Texas broke up with her boyfriend and must've told him she was heading to CO to abort. The guy hired a lawyer to take legal action against the clinic and anyone involved with the abortion.

No red flags or controlling behavior detected with this guy. Green flags all around. Hopefully this woman is willing to leave the country to get an abortion and never talk with him again. And just....wow!

I've dodged dating a few gems that I wouldn't have put it past to have pulled similar shit.

I don't think there are any "safe" circumstances where a woman can tell her SO she is getting an abortion unless he is sterilized and he still gets her pregnant. And the likelihood of that is almost nonexistent.
