The "momfia" attacks bronies

I loved MPL when I was kid, and I love them now (the 80's versions, I haven't seen the new ones and I don't want to!) My husband still has his copy of the original Transformers movie. These moos can take a long walk off a short pier of they have a problem with all this.

PS-If Bronies are like the "nerd" toy collectors that I know, they last thing they would ever want is some snot nosed, sticky fingered kid near their mint condition collectables.

Navi and Zatoth mostly beat me to it - I was going to add that it's not Bronies who pose a danger to her precious sprogling, it's HER. The most dangerous place for a brat to be is in its own home - where moo can turn her back for five seconds while the family pit bull rips its face off, or left alone with duh/grandduh/moo's latest fling, or left in the famblee truckster with the windows up on a summer day, etc.

Moo should be a hell of a lot more concerned that her brat will find her crack pipe and take it in for show and tell than she should be about a guy who likes toys and cartoons.

Major doll collector here! I moved hell to get my hands on several dolls I missed from the '97 Bluth blockbuster, Anastasia that I missed! I love 80s MLP (and wished to fuck I still had my original- the new ponies have shit on the old ones so I will not be getting one). I love Sackboy, Hello Kitty, and Strawberry Shortcake. I also have in mind to start collecting the uber-elite Tonner dolls for my Disney fetish. Did I also mention I have a fuckton of Disney DVDs (right near the porn on my shelf)? Guess that makes me a pedo... Then again, aren't these the same bitches who screamed on the fuck-ass ugly Bratz line? How about those retarded Steve Madden ads from a couple years back? You know the Bratz/Anime-esque charicatures? Dolly Parton hair/head, pencil body, and platform shoe-sized feet? As for the hentai and ecchi anime? I love me somma that too... smug

Speaking of "cartoons" I like the Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy.

MLP is cute and well-written for a mere toy-selling cartoon, and I don't get any kidf*cker vibes from it AT ALL, unlike a lot of Japanese anime these days.

I never understood the appeal of Japanese anime. From what I've seen of anime it does look like something that would attract kidfuckers/pedos.

I've been a big fan of Spongebob for years!!
Before that it was Rocco's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, The Flintstones, The Jetsons and alway the Warner Bros. classics (Bugs, Daffy, Speedy, RR etc). Am I a child molester? No. Never have been and never will be sexually turned on by anybody under age 35.

The reason why adults enjoy cartoons like the above is not because they're sexually turned on by kindercrap and other things that relate to kids, but because the shows are funny! The people who write the scripts for these shows are talented writers and entertainers who have the ability to appeal to not only kids, but adults as well, which says a whole lot more for them than the idiots who hatch the ideas for such stupid shows like "Kate Plus 8" , "16 and Pregnant", "Toddlers & Tiaras" and so on.

While there is some popular anime specifically targeted towards people who are "interested" in cartoon children (and not all these folks are interested in real life children as far I know), anime is simply a medium made up of a variety of genres. Anime is like the movie industry in that it's possible for anyone to find an anime series/movie that's right for them.

Japanese storytelling is different from Western storytelling. I don't like Japanese anything. So I hate anime period.

That's fine if you don't like Japanese stuff, but Japanese story-telling is not *that* different from Western story-telling. Anime, like all medium, has universal qualities that allow non-Japanese to enjoy and appreciate it. I guess I was wrong about their being an anime series/movie that is right for everyone. LOL.

Anyways, the point I was trying to make is that anime is made up of a lot of different genres. Some of it is porn-y and some of it is the complete opposite of porn-y. LOL.

Pedo stuff whether it's cartoon or not I do NOT like at all of course.

cfgullah, yeah, I'm not into cartoon pedo stuff, either. I make sure to stay away from those peculiar series/movies.

I came across this:

Re: The "momfia" attacks bronies
September 24, 2011
Honestly, there's anime out there for just about any audience...there's bloody action/fighting shows (DBZ), more tame action for younger boys (called shonen, I think - like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh), female superhero stuff for girls (Sailor Moon), really sugary-cutesy stuff for little girls, and cutesy stupid shit for little boys. Some of those shows could be for either gender too. And then there are shows aimed more at adults with lots of blood, tits flying all over the place, rape, tentacles, incest, creepy shit, violent battles and so on. There's yaoi and yuri for people who are into gay romance (and these can be softcore or hardcore), and there's shota and lolli for people who are into kiddy porn.

A lot of anime looks mostly the same to me, but I do like certain shows. I like DBZ, Pokemon, Gravitation, Rurouni Kenshin and the occasional show about fighting. I'm not an OMG huge anime fan, but there are a couple series I enjoy...usually things with lots of fighting and death because I like watching people kill each other. smiling smiley

it is telling that the author of this piece calls herself hipmama.

if you actually call yourself hip that means you are NOT.

thumbs upwink

damn right! NO parent is COOL.
Actually, my mother is WAAAAaaaay cooler than I am, but she is and has always been an exception, rather than a rule.

OMG! You're a child molester! Stop liking well-animated TV shows my brat happens to like!

There's just so much wrong with this article I don't know where to begin. As a female "brony" I'm pretty damn disgusted by all the parents who whine that (by collecting toys and stuff from the series and watching the show) that the adult/adolescent fanbase is somehow ruining it for all the kyds.

Plus using the word "momfia" to describe your moo group is just moronic.

Why is it anyone else's business what anyone likes? I like trilobites and other fossils, watching reruns of "All in the Family," and rugmaking. WHO CARES? I couldn't care less what other folks like or don't like so long as they don't bother me. Some people have TOO MUCH TIME on their hands.

Actually, this is a very innocent anime about four fun-loving schoolgirls holding a music club. Not a single panty flash or jouncing boobs in sight.

If some other anime actually has THAT, I roll my eyes at that. smile rolling left righteyes2

Well I like some anime.
Mostly the saturday night kind shown on Adult Swim.
I also like an anime movie made back sometime in 2004 called Dead Leaves.
It's like Fooly Cooly on crack.
When I was growing up, I adhered to Inuyasha as my first recognized anime.
As in, I knew what it was.
Sailor Moon and Pokemon were favorites of my childhood as well.
Blargh, I'm having trouble wording things right today. :eyebrows

Aren't cartoons such as Sponge Bob, Ren & Stimpy, Family Guy and such actually edited down adult cartoons? I know there's an adult version of Family Guy where Brian has a human girlfriend he sleeps with. Also, a lot-and I mean LOT- of Anime is toned down-Battle of the Planets is a prime example: half of everybody gets offer, the villain is actually a Hermaphrodite and I think there were some adult situations in it as well...

METALOCALYPSE RULES!!!!!!!

What's funny- the same moos howling about some guy with a pocket protector buying MLP crapola has no problem signing their kid up for pole dancing classes or for a pageant where she will pop on a set of plastic tits a prance around to a hip hop song laden with colorful metaphors for cranking off.

His accent is sexylicious.
That probably sounds very strange considering he is a cartoon character.
Funny thing, zatoth.
From your picture, I totally pegged you like; I bet that person likes Metalocalypse.
