Hello thanks for the approval! Someone linked this site on the childfree reddit sub and after doing a snoop looked exactly like what I wanted to join! I'm 29f and a decided to go back to school and study for my dream career.... because I can and not have to worry about caring for children.

Welcome. We're quite adamant - no parents.

Being able to change careers is in my top 10 list of things I love about not having children.

I'm very lucky to have a partner that is supporting me financially while I study for 4 years (if I pass everything first go). I thought everyone was being polite when they said "life experience counts" when I was worried about being an older student...but sitting next to 17-20 yr olds I couldn't agree more. There's not many older people in my class so we stick together. Its only a small enrollment for this particular course.
Hi from Australia! I used to lurk years ago but forgot about this forum until recently. I'm 28 and tired of social pressure to shit out brats. I don't want to wreck my vagina/anus (anyone who claims the sex is still great after ripping their vag and asshole is LYING), I don't want to spend 200k+ raising ungrateful kids, I don't want permanently loose saggy skin and flappy tits, I don't want to be stuck doing 99% of the housework/childcare, I don't want to risk becoming a single mother if the father decides to check out, I don't want to risk being stuck with a tard and most of all, I just want my peace and quiet. I don't need a high powered career to be happy but I do need a clean, quiet sanctuary at home. I'm extremely introverted and prefer being alone. The thought of being NEEDED 24/7 just makes me feel strangled.
Welcome.

Having a nice quiet sanctuary of a home is one of my MAJOR reasons for being CF. I totally get you!

Hi everyone. I'm a childfree woman in my 30s. It's great to finally find a forum where I can vent. I found this site while I was googling childfree communities.

welcome..

CERTIFIED HOSEHEAD!!!

No one is more arrogant towards women, more aggressive or scornful, than the man who is anxious (insecure..my word) about his virility. Simone de Beauvoir

people (especially women) do not give ONE DAMN about what they inflict on children and I defy anyone to prove me wrong

Dysfunctional relationships almost always have a child. The more dysfunctional, the more children. The selfish wants of adults outweigh the needs of the child.

Some mistakes cannot be fixed, but some mistakes can be 'fixed'.

People who say they sleep like a baby usually don't have one. Leo J. Burke

Adoption agencies have strict criteria (usually). Breeders, whose combined IQ's would barely hit triple digits, have none.

Welcome! waving hello I hope you enjoy your stay
I'm not new. I'm just returning after a years long hiatus.
Not new. Was CFGUY for years but hadn't posted in a very long time and think that caused acct to get terminated/locked. So am now CFGUY2. Have enjoyed just lurking and reading "Living room" & "the island" forums for last ~8 years. Just hadn't felt the need to post. Members have done a great job of expressing CF feelings, encounters, and experiences I can relate to. 65yo, M, Chicago area
Good morning,

I was contemplativeintrovert, I am back after a few years because I recently got into a spat with a breeder so I wanted a safe space again.

Much harder for breeders to get in here now. Welcome back

Welcome to all the new peeps! I love this board and most everyone here is pretty cool.
Hey! I came back to find a whole new look and mu old credentials not working! So I signed up again as MerlynHerne2. I had been working on a novel, but it's finally at the publisher, so I can be more regular.

Welcome and glad to see you back!
Hey there. I've lurked here for a while and decided to sign up because it feels like a space where childfree people aren't filtered, shamed, and censored if they aren't gushing about how much they luurrv the children and are totally not like those child hating ones! I never had a maternal desire since I was young. I never played with baby dolls, never made my Barbies and Bratz be parents, and never connected with little kids *rather found them obnoxious). I never babysat as it never appealed to me. Once I realized adults did not have to grow up and have children, I knew I didn't want children and was relieved to know one could opt out when I was 14. I researched birth control methods until I decided I wanted to become sterilized and this cat finally got spayed at 24 years old *bilateral salpingectomy*. I am now 26 going on 27 and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

A little about me: I'm an agnostic, introverted vegan woman who likes video game playthroughs, working out, drinking cold press juice and smoothies, and supernatural/sci-fi stories. I have been a little preocuppied but plan on posting and chatting with you all soon. Thanks for having me!

Welcome back, MerlynHerne! And congrats on the novel! smiling smiley

Welcome aboard, vegangoblingirl! And yes, this is a very unapologetically childfree haven where people don't have to watch their language. Unlike some CF sites I've been to where people are censored and shushed for using words like "breeder" because it's "not nice," we embrace all the offensive language. Hope you enjoy your stay! smiling smiley

Hello, everyone! I just registered yesterday. I'm so glad I found this site. It's honestly so nice to see that I'm not the only one that hates children with a passion. I got a tubal ligation back in August of this year.
